EDUCATION &
OUTREACH

Our vibrant education program is designed to engage both children and adults, instilling a sense of stewardship for the natural world around us. Each presentation includes age-appropriate information about our local birds, the vital role they play in maintaining our environment, and the impact we humans have on both of them.

We offer a variety of educational experience options both with and without the participation of our Ambassador birds.

An onsite visit is the best opportunity to spend quality time with our Ambassadors. Held in our outdoor education pavilion, you will meet many of our Ambassadors and learn about each one’s personal history, their species, unique personality, and the valuable roles they play in keeping our environment healthy. You’ll also learn about the life-saving work we do each and every day, rescuing injured and orphaned birds in order to heal and return them to the wild.

Onsite visits are offered Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 11am or 1pm. The program lasts roughly 1 hour. Reservations are required.
