With your help, we can continue to help birds like this Western Screech Owl nestling that our amazing Release Team was able to re-nest and reunite with its parents! Join our team!
On April 5 2019, with the signing of a long-term lease on two acres in Cotati, Bird Rescue Center reached a major milestone in our relocation efforts, but in order to break ground on this wonderful new property — and build our new Avian Hospital and Raptor Program facilities — we must first raise at least $600,000! Join us in this effort and help save wild birds in the North Bay.
We have the place, but we still need to build a new facility from the ground up – which in this post-fire era is more costly than ever.
We have set a goal of raising at least $600,000 by the end of 2019 in order to begin this project. This amount is expected to cover design, engineering, permits, and hopefully the foundation.
Your strong support on social media has been amazing – but what we really need now is solid, ongoing financial support from the Community.
Your donations will help ensure that the 3,000+ birds we handle each and every year continue to receive the best possible care. You will also be supporting our 16 Resident Ambassador birds and our Community Education programs, which reached more than 47,000 children and adults last year with important lessons about climate change, our local environment, and cohabiting with native wild birds. We have one of the few Junior Volunteer programs in the County, and your financial support can help make sure that resource remains available to children between the ages of 13 and 18.
