Questions & Answers
A juvenile crow with his feathers must have fallen out of his next or is ill. I put him outside in the cattery (which is a large enclosed meshed space - without any cats) and put cat food, water and bread in bowls in the cattery. He cannot fly. His parents are distressed and staying close by and cawing a lot and he is crying back to them.
I am afraid to let him out since we have cats in the neighborhood and he cannot fly to get away.
Is there anything else I should do to increase his chances of living? I am hoping he will eventually be able to fly and can let him out. I could let him out so his parents can try to attend to him but if a cat, racoon... comes, I dont think he will survive.
Any advice would be appreciated.
