Bird Day at
Michele-Schlumberger Wine Estate

A fundraiser for The Bird Rescue Center
9am to 2pm
4155 Wine Creek Road, Healdsburg

Join us on Saturday, September 5th, for a very special celebration of birds at the spectacular Michel-Schlumberger Wine Estate in Dry Creek Valley. Local experts will lead small groups on bird walks around the scenic benchland vineyards and lake from 9:00 to 11:30 am. Tim Stewart of Wild Birds Unlimited will be on hand under the Estate’s 200-year old oak tree to spot, identify and chat about the myriad bird life gracing the property. He will also supply spotting scopes and binoculars for viewing the birds.

The highlight of the event begins at 12:30pm when volunteers from The Bird Rescue Center in Santa Rosa will display several of their raptors used for education.

This is a chance to meet hawks, owls and falcons up close and very personal to learn firsthand about the natural history of these beautiful and ecologically essential animals.

Event admission is $10 at the door (kids free!) and includes all bird activities.

Join in the fun at this great educational event!
